Uta (She/They) has been drawing since she was born, and making comics for about as long. With a strong affinity for vibrant colors and a good sense of humor, they try to convey this in everything they do. Uta loves anime, music, video games, and learning new languages, which you might find her enjoying when she’s not drawing. (Good luck with that, though)

Uta currently resides in New York state with their cat.

FADERS was developed in November 2021, after Uta challenged herself to not write anything battle royale or magical girl inspired and meant for an older audience. They decided to focus on typical action/adventure shonen tropes, but with a twist: Soulmates.

Combining inspiration from songs like 「夜に駆ける」 (Yoru ni Kakeru, “Racing Into The Night”) by YOASOBI and “Horsey” by Macross 82-99, with her interests in idol culture and mysteries, FADERS officially began in March 2022.

(Fun fact: Uta did a lot of research into televisions before they started, which is where FADERS got its name)
